State Regulatory Registry LLC (SRR), the subsidiary of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) that administers NMLS, has developed a subscription service that provides a subset of the data available in NMLS Consumer Access in a B2B format. The subscription service is available to organizations seeking to use the data to meet the purposes of the SAFE Act, such as confirming license status, verifying information, and preventing fraud. The subscription service is not available for solicitation or marketing purposes.
Organizations interested in NMLS B2B Access will be required to submit an application to SRR. Subject to SRR’s approval of the application, access to the subscription service is available pursuant to a subscription agreement that outlines the restrictions and appropriate uses of the data.
The current service provides subscribers with access to a daily download of text files containing the NMLS Consumer Access data. Data is provided using an SFTP server.
